Certified in Organic Agriculture, this wine is made from the white Aligoté grape variety grown in the Hautes Côtes-de-Nuits appellation zone, on clay-limestone and marl soils. Average age of the vines: 25-35 years.
Winemaking
After pressing, the must is cooled for clarification. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in vats under temperature control. This wine is bottled in the spring following the harvest to preserve all its freshness and fruitiness.
Tasting & Pairings
Very fresh and mixed with crème de cassis, Kir is a perfect aperitif. It can also be enjoyed alone to appreciate its notes of fresh fruit and white flowers.
Conservation
Easily consumed when young, Bourgogne Aligoté can be stored for 2 to 3 years.
