Burgundy Hautes-Côtes de Nuits red - Les Colombières 2022
This red wine is made from the Pinot noir grape variety grown on the clay-limestone and marl soils of Hautes-Côtes de Nuits.
Vineyard
Certified in Organic Agriculture, the Pinot noir clusters are grown on clay-limestone and marl soils. The average age of the vineyard is between 25 and 35 years.
Winemaking
The grapes are sorted and completely destemmed. This wine is fermented naturally in vats for 2 to 3 weeks with daily punching down and possibly pumping over to encourage fermentation. To preserve all the fruitiness of this vintage, this wine is aged for 9 months in vats.
Tasting & Pairings
Pinot Noir as we like it, silky tannins, aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry). This fresh wine will accompany grilled dishes and fish.
